Webinars
Our webinars are the online version of our open trainings — with the same standards for structure, hands-on work, and transfer into day-to-day project work. You learn live with an instructor, can ask questions, work through exercises together, and receive content in a way that remains reproducible afterwards.
The difference is not the content, but the setting: instead of a training room, we use a reliable video conference — and for hands-on work (depending on the topic) a prepared working environment. This keeps webinars predictable, efficient, and easy to integrate into your workday — especially when travel isn’t practical or teams work across locations.
Many topics are offered regularly throughout the year as webinars. As with open trainings, you choose a clearly defined topic and a fixed date — just online.

Who are webinars for?
Webinars are ideal if …
- you want to work through a predefined topic online in a predictable way
- participants join from multiple locations or travel time should be avoided
- you prefer shorter learning sessions instead of blocking full classroom days
- you still want to learn live — with an instructor, not as a self-study format
If you need to tailor content strongly to internal systems/processes, an in-house training is usually the better fit.
Organization & delivery

Online learning works best when it fits the screen-based workday. That’s why many webinars are organized as half-day sessions — typically in the morning or afternoon. This supports focus, encourages interaction, and avoids “video marathons”. Typical characteristics include:
- live instruction with an instructor (not pure self-study)
- questions, technical discussion, and collaborative work similar to a classroom setting
- hands-on exercises (depending on the topic)
- a structured flow with breaks and clear goals per session
Technology

For participation you typically only need:
- laptop or desktop
- stable internet connection (optional: check your connection in advance with a speed test)
- headset (microphone/headphones), optional camera
- ideally two screens (one for the webinar, one for exercises)
Hands-on work without setup time
So the webinar doesn’t start with installations, we provide a preconfigured working environment for many topics — for example as a virtual training workstation in the browser. Tools, exercise data, and materials are prepared so the training can start right away.
Hybrid option

For selected dates, hybrid variants may be available: the instructor is on site and the session is streamed live. This allows participants to join either in person or remotely, depending on their situation — without the content splitting into two separate tracks.
If a date is offered as hybrid, it is clearly marked as such in the course catalog.
Booking & status

Webinar dates are listed in the course catalog — usually with their own pricing and clear labeling as a webinar (or hybrid).
As with open trainings, you can see the current status (traffic-light system) before booking, so you can better assess planning reliability:
- Course planned – not yet confirmed
- Not yet confirmed – almost reached
- Confirmed – seats available
- Confirmed – only a few seats left
- Course cancelled – booking not possible
What happens after registration

After registering, you receive an acknowledgment. Then you will receive all information you need for participation, in particular:
- webinar access (link, times, short checklist)
- guidance on the working environment/technology (access, process, requirements)
- contact options for organizational questions
Once a date is finally confirmed, this is reflected in the status accordingly.
