Training Formats
Comelio has been around since 2000 – and so have our trainings. We started with classic IT topics such as programming, databases, and XML. From 2005 onwards, Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing were added; shortly after that came Data Science, Data Mining, and statistics.
Over the years, tools and platforms have constantly changed: trends came and went, products disappeared, and best practices were rethought. What has remained is our commitment to teaching content in a way that truly holds up in day-to-day project work – and our willingness to adapt trainings to goals, prior knowledge, and organizational constraints.
That’s exactly why we offer our trainings in three formats. This way you can choose the option that best fits your team, your schedule, and your organizational requirements.
Open Trainings
Public trainings take place at fixed locations: in Switzerland with Comelio Swiss GmbH in Zug and in Germany at the ComelioCademy (near Ruhr University; opening planned for May 2026). No constantly changing hotel venues, no “long lists of locations”.
In-house Trainings
Our instructors come to you. Content and focal points can be tailored to your systems, roles, and goals – especially useful for teams or whenever specific constraints and requirements need to be taken into account.
Webinars
Many trainings are also available as live webinars: delivered in real time by our instructors – including hands-on exercises in a prepared, preconfigured working environment in the browser. This means no virtual machines need to be installed or downloaded.
